Nestled just outside of Barrie, the beautiful Holland Marsh Wineries brings 3 generations of Eastern European winemaking experience to Ontario with multiple varieties, expert craftsmanship, and a serene event location.
Holland Marsh Wineries is located in the heart of Canada’s premier farming community and has a unique soil composition and bowl-shaped micro-climate that gives the grapes a unique and unparalleled bouquet and flavour. Paired with decades of experience, Holland Marsh wines don’t stay in glasses for very long.
Wine tasting tours are available all year round for anyone looking to learn more about the winery. There is a boutique tour & tasting that will take you through Holland Marsh’s grounds and production area and is followed by a tasting of 5 handcrafted wines. Enhanced tours are also available with a more in-depth tour and a special tasting of select and reserve wines poured into varietal specific glasses with food pairings for each.
Holland Marsh also has 2 different venue spaces available for private events. The tasting room is a smaller, more intimate space that can seat 40 people comfortably with an outdoor covered picnic area, buffet tables, and more. Perfect for smaller gatherings like cocktail parties, team meetings, or showers. The Clubhouse, on the other hand, is an open-concept venue with a relaxing atmosphere and balcony seating with views of the beautiful vineyard. It has a private bridal suite and bathroom and seats 200 guests comfortably.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue, you can’t find better than Holland Marsh Wineries with the Clubhouse, scenic pond and gazebo, and breathtaking scenery for post vow photography. Holland Marsh is also situated right between highway 400 and highway 404 so it’s central for most guests. The Best Western in Newmarket provides accommodations for out of town guests with shuttles to and from the winery to eliminate any travel hassles for your guests.
