Located in Orillia and proudly family-owned, Puddle Paws Canine Hydrotherapy is run by sister-and-brother duo Billie and Randy, who turned their deep love for dogs into a unique and impactful business. Specializing in low-impact water therapy for dogs, they offer a safe, supportive environment where pets can recover, strengthen, and thrive.
A Business Born from Experience
The idea for Puddle Paws was sparked when one of their own dogs developed arthritis and struggled with everyday exercise. While long walks became painful, swimming seemed to ease the discomfort. After realizing there were no local facilities offering year-round aquatic therapy, Billie and Randy spent two years training and earning certification as Hydrotherapy Practitioners.
Their goal was clear: create a space where dogs could heal and stay active, regardless of age or ability.
What They Offer
Puddle Paws provides gentle, customized hydrotherapy sessions that help dogs recover post-surgery, manage chronic conditions like arthritis or hip dysplasia, improve mobility, and maintain fitness. The buoyancy of water reduces stress on joints and muscles, making it ideal for aging pets or those with limited mobility.
"Puddle Paws Hydrotherapy is fabulous! Billie & Randy are knowledgeable, professional & caring. Our senior golden retriever has made fantastic progress with his strength training sessions. Highly recommend!!"

A Heart for the Community
Beyond the pool, Billie and Randy stay closely connected to the Orillia community — supporting school fundraisers, assisting with rescue dogs, and lending a hand to local causes. Puddle Paws is more than a business; it’s a compassionate service built on trust, care, and a passion for canine well-being.
Whether your dog needs help healing or just a fun and therapeutic swim, Puddle Paws Canine Hydrotherapy is here to help — one dog and one splash at a time.
