Plowy McPlowface already suggested: Barrie inviting residents to name city snowplows

That name again is Mr. Plow

Barrie City Hall is inviting residents to name the city’s twelve snowplows, and Plowy McPlowface has already been submitted. Barrie 360 should know, we filled out the form.

The contest is open until January 22 and allows residents to submit suggested names for the dozen plows working city streets. A shortlist of names will be selected in late January, after which the public will vote to choose twelve names.

Winning names will be announced in mid-February, and those names will appear on the city’s Plow Tracker website.

To participate, you must be a City of Barrie resident, with only one name permitted per household. Any inappropriate or offensive names will not be considered. Name suggestions can be submitted online.
