Police dole out tickets to teen dirt bike rider in Innisfil
Passenger on back who wasn't wearing a helmet fell off the bike
A ride on a dirt bike turned out to be costly for a 17-year-old Innisfil boy.
On Sunday, a South Simcoe Police officer saw a dirt bike driving at a high rate of speed on Killarney Beach Road in Innisfil. There was a passenger on the back who wasn’t wearing a helmet. The bike entered the parking lot of Lefroy Arena and as it drove into a wooded area, the passenger fell off and ran into the forest. No one was injured.
After an investigation, the driver was identified. He was charged with six provincial offence notices and cautioned for dangerous driving.
