Police Link Bracebridge Sudden Death to Opioid Use
Twenty-Nine-Year-Old Man Found Dead in Suspected Overdose
The death of a man in Bracebridge over the weekend is being linked to the use of opioids.
First responders were called to a Bracebridge home around 11:00 Saturday morning, arriving to find the man dead. He’s said to be in his 20’s.
This sudden death investigation is suspected to be related to the use of opioids, while police continue to draw attention to what it has called a “public health crisis”; numerous deaths due to overdose have been reported across the province and the country.
