Police looking for pair of suspects following robbery at knifepoint in Orillia

Investigators say duo fled the scene on foot

Police are on the hunt for two suspects after an armed hold up in Orillia.

Orillia OPP say two men walked into a West Street business around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, claiming they were armed with knives and demanded money. The pair fled on foot after obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash. Despite a search of the area by officers including the canine unit, no arrests were made.

The OPP describes both suspects as:

  • White males
  • 18 to 25 years old
  • Approximately 5’6″ tall
  • Wearing black pants and jackets
  • Black balaclavas, one having green/yellow on top
