Pre-book your drop-in rec activity through Orillia website to assist with contact tracing

Those wishing to participate must register up to 24 hours in advance

Those wishing to take in some drop-in recreation programming at City of Orillia facilities will have to book in advance.

As a means of assisting with contact tracing, residents will now have to pre-register for a drop-in program up to 24 hours prior to taking part. It also helps to maintain facility occupancy limits. Prior to COVID-19, those wishing to participate in drop-in programs would just need to show up in time.

“We are excited to provide safe recreational opportunities to the community to help with physical and mental health during these challenging times. The new process to register for our drop-in programs will allow participants the flexibility to choose which drop-in programs they wish to attend in advance,” said Megan Visser, Recreation Program Supervisor.

Drop-ins will be open for registration one week in advance on the city’s online booking system.
