Precautionary Hold And Secure Order Lifted
"Domestic Incident" Precipitated Order
An unrelated “domestic incident” brought about a hold and secure at an area school today.
It was a precautionary measure according to Barrie Police’s Peter Leon, when the hold and secure was put in place for St. Monica’s Catholic School on Steele Street around 12:30 this afternoon.
The hold and secure order was lifted before the end of the school day. No reports of any charges laid in the incident.
