Team Adidas scored in the 1st period and was able to hold the lead until midway through the 3rd period.
Barrie native Jesse Eldridge, playing for Team Harvey's, came close to ending the game with a shot in overtime. Moments later, with just a minute left in the extra frame, Meaghan Mickelson of Alberta would find the back of the net for a 2-1 Team Adidas win.
Eldridge had two goals and an assist to lead Team Harvey’s to a 5−2 win over Team Scotiabank on Friday in Peterborough. She played for Canada in the 2020 Rivalry Series with the U.S. She is joined on Team Harvey's by Canadian Olympian Marie-Philip Poulin.
The Dream Gap Tour has been visiting cities across North America since October to promote, advance, and support a single, viable professional women’s ice hockey league in North America. The ultimate goal is to make hockey more inclusive for women today and for the girls of the next generation.
