South Simcoe Police - SNOW

A man from eastern Ontario was charged by South Simcoe Police with operating a vehicle while prohibited soon after appearing at the Bradford courthouse to answer to a similar charge along with other offences.

Police said the man was in court on Tuesday.

Following his appearance, police said they conducted a "pro-active" investigation and located the man driving disqualified right after leaving the courthouse.

The 46-year-old from Trent River was arrested and charged with operation while prohibited.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

His vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
