After a drop in new cases was noted earlier this month, the number of new cases reported by health officials stubbornly refuses to go down.
Public Health Ontario confirmed 413 new cases of COVID-19 today, pushing the province-wide caseload past 24,000. The number of new cases added daily has been hovering between the 300-400 range since early May.
Over 18,500 people have recovered thus far, an increase of 319 people since yesterday. However, another 31 lives were lost, 1,993 to date.
