Quentin Tarantino is reportedly working on his swan song.

The famed director always said he planned to cap his movies at ten before calling it quits.

According to "The Hollywood Reporter," he's written the script for "The Film Critic," a project and hopes to start shooting in the fall.

No official plot has been released, but rumours say the film will take place in the 1970s with a female lead loosely based on film critic Pauline Kael.

Kael was an influential and fiesty film critic who worked for the New Yorker for decades. She passed away in 2001.

Tarantino's last film, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," was released in 2019.

For years, Tarantino planned to retire after making ten movies or by the time he turned 60—his 60th birthday is later this month, so times nearly up.
