Rapid Deployment Craft Used For Lake Rescue in Gravenhurst
Muskoka Paramedics Services Waiting on the Mainland to Treat Injured
Some quick work by Gravenhurst Fire, after a snowmobiler was hurt on the ice.
Crews were called out ot Kahshe Lake around 6:00 last night, with reports a snowmobiler was involved in an incident on an island within the frozen lake.
Station 1 + 2 personnel are currently working with @OPP_CR and @MuskokaPS to effect the rescue of a snowmobiler on an island on Kahshe Lake following an accident. Units are staged on the mainland at Rockhaven. Patient contact has been made. pic.twitter.com/OJUARFx6Of

The fire service’s Rapid Deployment Craft was used to transport the patient back to the mainland, where Muskoka Paramedics Services was waiting to take him to hospital.
