Actor Ray Liotta, who first grabbed our attention in the classic Martin Scorcese film "Goodfellas," has passed away at 67.
Reports say he died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting the film "Dangerous Waters."
He was with his fiancee Jaycee Nittolo when he passed away.
Liotta got his start in the Soap Opera "Another World" in 1978. His first big movie was in 1989's Field of Dreams, where he played Chicago White Sox, Shoeless Joe Jackson, opposite Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones.
Shortly after, famed Director Martin Scorcese came knocking, and Liotta delivered his most iconic performance as Henry Hill in the classic mobster movie "Goodfellas."
I am utterly shattered to hear this terrible news about my Ray.
