South Simcoe Police say a reported gun threat at a licensed establishment in Innisfil led to the seizure of a replica gun and charges against a 45-year-old man.
Officers were called to a disturbance on Church Street just before 7 p.m. on Saturday.
Police were told that a physical altercation had occurred inside the premises. During the incident, a man allegedly yelled that he was known to police and threatened to use a firearm.
No weapon was seen, and no injuries were reported.
Officers arrived soon after and located the suspect outside the establishment.

Investigators say a replica firearm was found in his backpack, and he was also found to be in breach of a firearms and weapons prohibition order.
The suspect, who is from Innisfil, was charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, failing to comply with an undertaking, and causing a disturbance.
