$50K reward offered for info in unsolved murder of Midland area man

The Ontario government has announced a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder of 24-year-old Jonus Keegan Palmer.

On Monday, July 5, 2021, at around 11 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say Palmer was shot and killed outside a residence where he was staying with friends on Old Fort Road in Tay Township, near Midland.

Police have provided a video (link here) with more information about the case.

Investigators believe there are other witnesses who have information about Palmer's death.
