One person dead after 'serious collision' in Tiny Township

UPDATE:

OPP say the lone occupant involved in this single-vehicle collision in Tiny Township Sunday morning has died after being transported to hospital.

Police have identified him as 47-year-old Jason Cowan of Tiny Township.

According to officers, The investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been laid.

Simcoe County Road 6 in Tiny Township has been reopened.

Southern Georgian Bay OPP say Simcoe County Road 6 in Tiny Township is closed for an investigation of a "serious collision."

Just after 4:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, police responded to a vehicle in the ditch in the area of County Road 6 between Concession 14 and Concession 15 of Tiny Township. 

Officers say one person was transported to hospital.

The collision remains under investigation and the roadway will be closed for several hours.
