FILE - South Simcoe Police

South Simcoe Police responded to a neighbourhood in Bradford on Monday evening after a road rage incident turned into physical altercation.

Police say the driver of a vehicle flashed their high beams at a Honda CR-V that was reportedly speeding in a residential area. Both drivers got into a verbal dispute, and things didn't cool off from there. Police say the Honda followed the other driver home, where the pair in the CR-V confronted the homeowner and allegedly assaulted them.

A 20-year-old Bradford man was charged with assault and failure to comply with an undertaking, and a 20-year-old Bradford woman was charged with assault and assault with a weapon.

Both of them have court dates next month.
