One person suffered a minor injury after allegedly being assaulted at a Barrie bus shelter.

Around 10 p.m. Monday, police say they received a report about a robbery at a shelter located at the corner of Livingstone Street East and Michael Crescent. They say two males dressed in black hoodies, one of which may have had a white logo on it, and wearing masks, allegedly assaulted the individual and took the person's cell phone after they attempted to flee. According to police, one of the suspects got the phone and damaged it by throwing it to the ground. The culprits were last seen running northbound on Michael Crescent.

Investigators said the person did not require hospital treatment.
