Barrie police are searching for a suspect they allege robbed a gas station at knifepoint.

Around 8:30 Monday night, police received a report about a robbery at a gas station in the area of Dunlop Street West and Ferndale Drive North.

Police say a male entered the store, displayed a knife and demanded cash.

The employee was not physically injured, and the suspect was last seen heading north on Ferndale Drive.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male, white
  • 30-35 years old
  • Approximately 5’10” tall
  • Wearing a black hoodie, dark-coloured pants, black leather shoes and a black mask

Anyone with information, or who may have dashcam footage in the area are asked to contact police at 705-725-7025.
