A late-night robbery of a jewelry store in the Orillia Square Mall is being investigated by the Ontario Provincial Police.
Around 11 p.m. Sunday, officers were called after an alarm went off at a business inside the mall.
"When they got there, they found damage to a rear door - and signs that someone had broken in. Investigators say a jewelry store was hit, with display cases smashed and merchandise stolen," police said in a news release.
A tool believed to have been used in the break-in was found at the scene.
Despite an extensive search, no suspects were located.
