Another incident of a rock being thrown at a vehicle on Highway 48.
Ontario Provincial Police say the windshield of an occupied GO Transit bus was hit by a rock thrown at it on Highway 48, north of Major MacKenzie Drive in Markham around 11:30 p.m. on November 30. Police say no injuries were reported.
Since September 20, there have been 11 incidents of rocks thrown at vehicles on Highway 48 and another nine cases have been reported in Markham to York Regional Police.
In one incident, two people suffered life-threatening injuries. One of those individuals continues to recover while the other person remains in critical condition in hospital.
Investigators believe the incidents are all linked to the same suspect(s) or vehicle, believed to be a light-coloured sport utility vehicle (SUV).
