
Several tenants got out safely after a fire in a Barrie rooming house.
Deputy Fire Chief Carrie Clark tells Barrie 360 the flames originated in a room on the second floor.
Crews were called to the house on Dunlop Street West at Boys Street just before 10:40 this morning.
Clark says there were working smoke alarms.
Fire officials say damages are about $10,000.
The cause of the fire is considered accidental.
