Ryan Reynolds once again using ugly Christmas Sweaters to help SickKids

With donations matched by Samsung too!
Ryan Reynolds

In what has become a yearly tradition, Ryan Reynolds is helping launch another holiday campaign for The Hospital for Sick Children.

To help keep spirits bright this season, 5000 staff members at SickKids will receive replica scrubs of his now-signature Christmas sweater. Patients at the hospital will also be given ugly-sweater-themed blankets too!

Last year, Ryan Reynold's sweater was lit up for all to see as a light decoration on the SickKids building itself. He also surprised patients at the hospital when he made a virtual visit to their daily call-in show. With his help, the campaign helped raise over $300,000!

This year, donating to the campaign will once again allow your dollar to travel the extra mile because Samsung Canada will match all donations up to $100,000. So, you donate $100, and SickKids gets $200! Hurry though, Samsung is only matching donations through Midnight on December 24th!

There are a few people on Twitter calling for the sweaters to be sold, with proceeds also being donated to the hospital. While it might be too late this year, it's a fantastic idea, and we totally want one. Hopefully, they make it happen next year!
