Fans of Sex and the City reboot " And Just Like That…" know him as 'Shoe,' the sweet kitten who stole the heart of Carrie Bradshaw.

He was meant to be hers when he crawled into her shoebox.

The love connection was so real that Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Bradshaw, adopted him in real life.

She posted pictures on Instagram explaining his real name, Lotus, and he was adopted from the Connecticut humane society in April.

She proudly shows off her latest bundle, playing with her two older cats, also rescues.

I'm sure we'll see more of Lotus/Shoe in season 3.
