Evidence of Bigfoot found: Sasquatch University

Bigfoot evidence

The sound of a howl and footage of a daytime stroll ... evidence of Bigfoot? The host of the TV show Sasquatch University thinks so.

Ryan Willis says his team has collected proof of the creature in Muskoka and Grey County.

"We're very fortunate to have some witnesses from across Ontario get in touch with us," Willis told Barrie 360. "It's hard to pick which one is my favourite, but I really do love the audio clip."

What does he think of the sound?

"My first reaction to it was, 'What is this thing?' Because it really doesn't sound like any other animal I've heard. I listen to a lot of bear audio and wolf howls ... it really doesn't match with any of those, and just the power of it," he said.

Willis and his team brought the audio to the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources for examination.

"They couldn't identify it as a known animal," said Willis. "And we brought it to some very well-known Bigfoot researchers that said they think it's most likely a Sasquatch."

Willis and his team were also provided video from this summer in Muskoka.

Was it surprising to have footage of a daytime sighting?

"When we go looking, we always go at night because a lot of the evidence reports really point to these creatures being more nocturnal in some of their activities," said Willis. "But people do see them in the day, so it wasn't a huge surprise that a video came in of one walking around in the day.

He was also able to meet with the owner of the video.

"He had a lot of emotion about it," said Willis. "He was pretty freaked out that this thing was there on his property."

The Sasquatch University team is from Peterborough, but Willis says they are planning a return visit to collect more evidence.

"I think we probably will be this fall," said Willis. "I want to go back, it's a very cool area and we get a lot of reports from there. It's definitely a spot we'll continue going back to every few months to kind of stir up whatever we can."

To keep up with the detective work by Willis and his team, episodes of Sasquatch University air on Mondays on Wild TV, and more information is available here.
