It’s all about the cows, pigs and people this weekend at Wishing Well Animal Sanctuary in Bradford. It’s the perfect weekend to visit the animal sanctuary as it celebrates its 7th birthday with a Fabulous Fall Festival on Saturday (Oct 13th, 11am-6pm).

Cruelty free fashion show
Executive Director Art McDonald says it’s an important event for them as they rely on donations and volunteers to keep the animals fed and the doors open. “We have a cruelty free fashion show, food, music and fun for everyone.”
” Seven years ago we provided a home for a large group of neglected and abused sheep and cows. Since then we’ve rescued almost 100 more animals and provided them with a forever home.”
“We’re also now focusing on humane education to help prevent other animals from abuse and neglect. It’s a place of healing and a sanctuary for all. Come and celebrate with us! We have a great lineup of activities and vendors and the animals are looking forward to meeting you,” says McDonald.
Tour the grounds
Caretaker Richard Dodd says what you can tour their grounds, meet the animals and the wonderful volunteers that make it all happen.
