Twerk and OK among new words added to official Scrabble dictionary
Some new words to play Scrabble with…officially.
Game-makers have added 300 new words to the Scrabble Dictionary.
Long-awaited words like “OK” and ew” are now acceptable.

There are also 20 playable new words beginning with q that don’t need a u.
It’s been four years since the last update to the Scrabble Dictionary.
Among the other new words are:
Arancini: balls of cooked rice
Beatdown: an overwhelming defeat
Bestie: a person who someone likes very much
Bizjet: a small airplane used for business
Frowny: showing a frown
Qapik: a variant of gopik, “a monetary subunit of the manat (Azerbainan)”
Twerk: to dance by shaking the buttocks while squatting
Zomboid: resembling zombies
