Search warrant executed in Angus nets guns and stolen property
Two people face several dozen charges of identity theft
Two people face charges in connection with a counterfeit currency and identity fraud investigation that Nottawasaga OPP began earlier this summer.
As a result of the investigation, police executed a search warrant on July 13 at a residence in Angus and seized a shotgun, two revolvers, three tasers, ammunition, assorted stolen identification, personal documents belonging to various victims, airsoft pistols, counterfeit American currency, and a BB gun.
After piecing things together, police have now charged a 25-year-old Wasaga Beach woman and a 28-year-old Barrie man with numerous offences including 29 counts each of identity theft.
