Provincial police say they have arrested four people and laid 61 charges in connection with numerous break-and-enters in Collingwood and Clearview Township last fall.

Police say a search warrant executed at an Innisfil residence early Thursday resulted in the arrest of suspects and the seizure of illegal guns, stolen vehicles, and other property.

The weapons included a handgun, a sawed-off shotgun and two rifles.

The majority of the charges are weapons-related, and some are in connection with violations of release orders.

The suspects are from Collingwood and Innisfil, and one is of no fixed address.

They were all held for a bail hearing.
