Drug trafficking investigation results in multiple search warrants throughout Simcoe County

Ontario Provincial Police executed multiple search warrants throughout Simcoe County and laid drug-related charges against two men.

During the search warrants on Monday and Tuesday, police said they seized 239 grams of cocaine, more than $6,000 in cash, a Dodge Ram pickup truck, cellular devices, and drug trafficking paraphernalia and packaging.

Both suspects, a 49-year-old from Wasaga Beach and a 26-year-old from Midland, each face a drug trafficking charge and a charge of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. The suspect from Wasaga Beach is also charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
