Shotgun Stolen From Vehicle As Police In Innisfil Remind You To Lock Your Doors

Triple Barreled Shotgun Stolen Thursday Evening

South Simcoe Police are trying to track down the thief who stole a shotgun from a vehicle parked in Innisfil.

The theft happened around 6:00 Thursday evening, in the area of Shore Acres Drive and Neilly Road. The weapon is described as a Chiappa Triple threat 12 guage semi-automatic triple barreled shotgun, similar to the one pictured in this article’s banner. A wallet was also stolen.

Police are also reminding residents of the importance of locking your vehicle doors, regardless of where you park. Avoid leaving valuables, like shotguns, inside your vehicle, but if you must, ensure they’re out of plain view.

Meanwhile, South Simcoe Police report an arrest in a separate theft; a 27-year-old Bolton man is facing charges after the theft of some tools from a Bradford job site, back on July 4th.
