Gunfire in the wee hours of Sunday in Adjala-Tosorontio Township.
Nottawasaga OPP says shortly after 4 a.m., they responded to a residence on Bluebird Boulevard in the community of Colgan, southeast of Loretto, after unknown individuals fired multiple shots at a home.
No injuries were reported.
Police say they are investigating why the shots were fired.
They are urging residents in the area to remain vigilant and to report any recent or ongoing suspicious activity to police.
Residents in the area where the shooting occurred can expect to see an increased police presence.
