South Simcoe Police (SSP) say nobody was injured after shots were fired at a home on Settlers Crescent in Bradford Gwillimbury.
Shortly after three Wednesday morning, police responded to reports of gunshots fired at a residence.
Witnesses reported seeing an individual wearing a black hoodie standing on the sidewalk holding a pistol-type weapon, who entered a white sedan and fled southbound.
Police say they found multiple bullet casings on the boulevard and sidewalk in front of the home, and several bullet holes were found in a window and door of the residence.
The home was occupied at the time.
Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no risk to public safety.
