2 Simcoe County residents face multiple drug and weapon-related charges

Ontario Provincial Police executed three warrants in Alliston and Angus as part of a drug trafficking investigation that started in February and have laid multiple drug and weapon-related charges against two people.

The warrants were executed on Thursday at two residences and one storage facility.

According to police, the items seized included a 12-gauge modified shotgun, a stolen pickup truck, as well as various drugs including meth, fentanyl, and clonazepam tablets.

Charges have been laid against a 52-year-old Essa Township woman and a 31-year-old man from Lisle.

Both accused were held for bail.
