Two men from Bradford West Gwillimbury died in a crash on Highway 400 in Vaughan on Sunday, which left the driver with critical injuries.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say the crash occurred around 3:45 a.m. and involved a passenger vehicle operating as a rideshare and a transport truck in the northbound lanes, south of Teston Road.

Police say the passenger vehicle struck the end of a guardrail while exiting the highway, which caused a secondary collision with the truck. Two passengers in the rideshare vehicle, 30-year-old men, were pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.
