Six men found at Oro-Medonte short-term rental charged with violating Reopening Ontario Act

Police said they received information about the group hanging around Parkside Beach

Six men from the Windsor area have been charged by Ontario Provincial Police after they learned the group was staying at a short-term rental property in Oro-Medonte Township.

Police said they got word about the group hanging around Parkside Beach on Thursday night.

They said the home the men were staying in was booked through a popular short-term rental service.

Under the current stay-at-home order, all indoor and outdoor social gatherings are prohibited, except for members of the same household.

The six men were charged with violating the Reopening Ontario Act.
