Families and thrill-seekers alike are in for an adrenaline-pumping treat this Canada Day long weekend, as Snow Valley launches its newest attraction: Summit Soar, a 1,400-foot zipline that sweeps riders 75 feet above Ontario’s Best Snowtubing Park.
Opening Saturday, June 28, Summit Soar will bring year-round excitement to Snow Valley, offering guests the chance to fly side-by-side at speeds of up to 65 km/h. With four lines running in tandem, it’s designed for shared adventure—whether you’re racing friends or zipping along with the kids.
“This is a big step forward for us,” said Snow Valley General Manager John Ball. “Summit Soar helps us grow beyond the winter season while staying true to who we are—a place where families learn, play, and make memories together.”
While the zipline will the star attraction, guests will also be able to enjoy a slate of family-friendly extras throughout the day. Think outdoor lawn games, scenic photo backdrops, and the beloved Sno-Nut Hut offering sweet and savoury snacks. A Zip & Sip combo invites visitors to refuel at the base after their high-flying ride.

The launch of Summit Soar reflects Snow Valley’s broader vision of becoming a year-round destination. “It also supports our commitment to strengthening local tourism with new, high-quality experiences close to home,” Ball added.
Opening weekend hours: June 28–July 1, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional weekend dates will be offered throughout the summer.
