Snowmobile collision in Muskoka Lakes results in life-threatening injuries
Sled left the road and struck a tree
A 31-year-old New Hamburg, Ontario man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a snowmobile crash in Muskoka Lakes Township.
Ontario Provincial Police say the man was thrown from his sled just after midnight Sunday after it struck a tree along Redwood Road.
Police say he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
He was transported to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto for treatment.
