Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital ‘in good hands’

Allstate Insurance delivers donation

Orillia residents helped raise $1000 for Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and may not have realized it.

For every household that submitted a no-obligation home or auto quote, Allstate Insurance Canada – Orillia donated $25 to the Hospital to hit the campaign’s maximum of one thousand dollars.

“We believe in supporting the Hospital and this was a way for us to be involved. We are so happy that we were able to raise the maximum campaign donation to help the Hospital with equipment needs.”

– Orillia Allstate Insurance Manager Tammy Revie

Marina Genua, OSMH Foundation Development Officer of Annual Giving said the initiative turned what can often be seen as an item on a task list into a great cause for giving. “Getting an insurance quote doesn’t always spark joy, but this campaign was a fun way to have community members feel good about getting their insurance needs taken care of.

The Quote to Donate campaign ran in April and the funds raised will go a long way to fulfilling equipment needs at OSMH.
