A woman from the Toronto area is facing impaired driving charges after South Simcoe police say they found empty alcohol bottles inside her vehicle.
On Saturday around 5:30 p.m., officers with the South Simcoe Police Service say they received two calls about a possible impaired driver "swerving all over the road and nearly going into the ditch multiple times."
The vehicle was located by officers on County Road 88 at the Highway 400 Southbound ramp.
"Police stopped the vehicle and conducted the investigation," officials wrote in a media release. "Officers found several empty bottles of alcohol in the vehicle."
