A man is facing charges in connection with an armed robbery that South Simcoe Police say happened in the early hours of May 4 at a home in Bradford.
Police allege the suspect approached the victim and attempted to rob him at gunpoint. There was a brief struggle on the front lawn and the victim sustained minor injuries.
Investigators were able to identify the suspect as a 28-year-old from Toronto and that he was allegedly responsible for a second armed robbery in that city in March of this year.
Toronto police arrested the suspect last Friday.
A search warrant was executed on the home and vehicle of the accused where officers recovered clothing and a replica handgun allegedly used in the robbery.
The suspect is up on the following charges:

Charge #2: CC 351(2) Disguise With Intent
Charge #3: CC 85(2)(a) Imitation Firearm - Use While Committing Offence
Charge #4: CC 88 Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
