South Simcoe Police seek witnesses after cyclist found in ditch

Airlifted to Toronto in critical condition

A 27-year-old Innisfil man is in a Toronto trauma centre after being found injured in a ditch Sunday night.

South Simcoe Police say the man, a cyclist, was found by passersby around 8:15 p.m. in the St. Johns Road and Garden Avenue area.

He was taken to a local hospital and then airlifted via Ornge air ambulance to Toronto where he is listed in critical condition.

Police are appealing for the public’s help to determine what happened.
