Southbound Hwy. 400 collector lanes closed in Vaughan after dump truck crash

Ontario Provincial Police say the closure of the Highway 400 southbound collector lanes at Langstaff Road in Vaughan could be lengthy after a dump truck hit the bridge overpass just after 2:30 Friday morning.

Extensive repairs are required, and police say inspectors are heading to the scene to check the integrity of the bridge.

Police say the box of the dump truck was up when it struck the overpass.

A 32-year-old from Brampton has been charged with careless driving.
