Need for speed proves costly for Simcoe County motorist

A 20-year-old man from Egbert was charged with stunt driving after Barrie police say the vehicle he was driving was clocked at 105 km/h in a 60-zone.

Police say the driver was nabbed at Essa Road and Salem Road in the southwest part of the city on Thursday.

As a result of the charge ,the man's car was impounded for 14 days and he was nailed with a 30-day licence suspension.
