Eight month delay for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is delayed until 2023.

The sequel to the hugely successful animated "Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse " was scheduled to open in October, but Sony Pictures has pushed it to June 2023.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse catches up with Miles Morales as he follows fellow spider hero Gwen Stacey and others to alternate universes.

Each universe will look different and have a different style of animation, which made the first movie visually unique.

The good news is that the third part of the franchise has already been greenlit.

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse II" has an expected release date of March 2024.

New Mexico Fines Rust production company maximum for workplace violations

The production company behind the movie "Rust" has been hit with a massive fine for unsafe working conditions.

New Mexico, where the movie was filming, slapped "Rust Movie Productions LLC" with the maximum fine allowed of $137 thousand, citing "willful and serious" violation of workplace safety procedures.

The fine follows a six-month investigation by the New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau.

The agency was looking into the events that led to the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Hutchins was working on the movie set in October 2021 when she was shot by a prop gun held by Alec Baldwin.

The shooting also seriously injured Director Joel Souza.

In a statement, The New Mexico Environment Department said the production firm knew firearm safety procedures were not being followed and demonstrated "plain indifference" to the hazards.

Criminal investigations are ongoing.

Drake gets a restraining order against alleged stalker

Drake's been granted a restraining order against his alleged stalker.

The woman in question has issued death threats against the rapper.

Last year she attempted to file a $4 billion defamation suit against him.

The rapper says he's suffered "emotional distress" and is worried about the safety of himself and his family because of the woman's actions, including sending threatening messages.

Drake has been dealing with the woman for several years.

In 2017 she was arrested for trespassing on his Hollywood Hills home.

The accused is ordered to stay at least 100 yards away and stop contacting Drake and his family.
