Effective immediately, Springwater Township has lifted the water ban for the Snow Valley municipal water system, which includes the Snow Valley Highlands, Snow Valley Lowlands and Centre Vespra.

The township says the decision was taken due to the cooler temperatures, recent rainfall, and reduced water consumption levels in the area.

The township will host an informal public information session regarding the Snow Valley municipal water system. The information session will take place on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 6-8 p.m. at the Township Administration Centre, located at 2231 Nursery Road.
