Springwater township man charged in connection to fatal summertime collision
Essa Township biker killed in crash on July 10
Police have charged a Springwater man in connection to a collision in July that claimed the life of a motorcyclist.
Huronia West OPP report that, around 1:30 p.m. on July 10, a motorcycle and farm tractor collided on Highway 26 near Horseshoe Valley Road in Springwater Township. The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle.
Police say 64-year-old David Ball of Essa Township was pronounced dead on scene.
Following extensive investigation, an 84-year-old man has been charged with Careless Driving Causing Death. He will be in provincial court in early March to answer to this charge.
