Crews from Springwater Fire and Wasaga Beach Fire had their hands full battling a large field fire on County Road 92 and Vigo Road on Sunday evening.
In a post on X, Springwater Fire said crews set up to protect a farm and residential homes as the blaze was fast moving toward them.
No damage to properties, and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire was from a combine.

The region is experiencing dry conditions, and many Simcoe County municipalities have imposed outdoor fire bans.
The fire danger rating in Simcoe County, Barrie, Orillia and Muskoka is in the high to extreme range.
The forecast offers little hope of a soaking rain in the next week, with only spotty showers and thunderstorms. In July, Barrie receives, on average, about 80 mm of rain, according to Environment Canada, and while the numbers are still being compiled, only 13 mm had fallen as of late last month.
