South Simcoe Police credit a driving complaint from a citizen that led them to a suspected impaired driver in Bradford.

Just before 7:30 Monday night, police received a call from a person about a possible impaired driver on Milligan Street.

"Police responded and were able to locate the vehicle after the driver conducted a U-turn in front of two police cruisers at Sideroad 10 and Highway 88," police said in a news release.

When the vehicle was stopped, officers allegedly found several empty beer cans and and an empty wine glass bottle in the car.

A 29-year-old Oshawa man was charged with impaired. His licence was suspended for 90 days, and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
